Scanning Information

Information Security is authorized to provide network-based scanning both proactively and reactively to maintain the health of the Tufts Network. We periodically, proactively scan subnets to identify vulnerable computers before they impact the community's Internet access. We regulary provide reactive scans as part of our incidence response procedures, in response to network problems, and at the request of auditors. We will also scan new servers, appliances and hosts when requested.
