Information Security

Information Security is responsible for coordinating and implementing a university-wide security management program to ensure the continuous confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets owned and used by the university community. The program will be proactive, taking into account the distributed environment of Tufts. The Information Security Program is shifting a historical focus from a network centric-perspective to one that is data-centric, consultative and university wide.

Information Security is staffed by the Chief Information Security Officer (Chuck Young), a Sr. Network Security Engineer, a Systems/Security Analyst, a Security Specialist and the soon to be filled position of Information Risk Consultant.
